These are just a few books -- chosen from the shelves of our home library -- we think might appeal or be useful to a curious mind. We could easily list many others, but even this list quickly got out of hand. In the end you arbitrarily draw a line. As most of the authors on our shelves are dead, and darn close to it, they will feel no insult for being left off.
